ESEN is part of Grupo Empresarial Caudal (Caudal Business Group), which belongs to the Treasury and Prices Ministry. The Company was set up in 1978 with the business aim of developing insurance and reinsurance operations in national and foreign currency for physical people and legal persons, Cuban and foreign, as well as insurance preparation and complementary activities, directed to risks assessment and damage prevention in national and foreign currency for Cuban or foreign natural or legal people. It also offers services of inspection, failures valuation and adjustment, actuarial calculations, and risk prevention in insured goods in both currencies for natural people and legal persons, as well as for the agricultural sector which may not be insured under the national currency.
